    On a final note, it must be mentioned that many engagement rings will not allow diamond wedding rings to sit neatly alongside due to the setting of the engagement ring. In these cases, it is possible to buy either shaped wedding rings, or to have one custom made to fit against the engagement ring. This usually involves producing a wax model of the wedding ring first that will fit perfectly. This is then cast in the metal of choice, before setting the diamonds into it. This method allows a perfect fit and will not always be as costly as you would imagine.
